Tokyo Marathon 2027 Related Event RUNS : INTO KK ★on Saturday, March 6★
Designed to build excitement for the Tokyo Marathon 2027, this event takes place on the KK Line (formerly the Tokyo Expressway), a unique venue normally closed to runners. The lineup features a variety of programs, including the Family 1 Mile Run for parents and children, the Kids & Junior 1 Mile Run for students from 4th grade of elementary school through 3rd year of junior high school, a classic 5K, and a 2-hour relay for up to 300 teams.
Whether you join on your own or as a group, the event offers a fun running experience for all ages, from kids to adults. It's a chance for everyone to get active while building anticipation for the main race.

Eligibility Requirements
Family 1 Mile
- Pairs of one parent/guardian aged 18 or older and one child in 3rd grade of elementary school or younger (approx. age 9 and under).
- Pairs of two children, or groups of three (e.g., two parents and one child, or one parent and two children), are not permitted.
- Children must be able to run on their own. Children may also participate in a running stroller (buggy).
- Wheelchair users may also participate. Please contact the event office in advance.
- In addition to the two runners, you may register up to one accompanying person. Accompanying persons cannot run but may watch and cheer. (*Accompanying person details must be entered at the time of entry.)
- The race will be held in multiple start waves. The first wave starts at 12:30 PM.
- Wave assignments will be made by the organizer after the entry deadline and sent to participants (scheduled for February 15, 2027 or later).
Kids & Junior 1 Mile
- Students from 4th grade of elementary school through 3rd year of junior high school (approx. ages 9–15).
- You may register up to two accompanying persons. Accompanying persons cannot run but may watch and cheer. (*Accompanying person details must be entered at the time of entry.)
GINZA 5K
- High school students and older.
- Only runners may enter the venue. Supporters and accompanying persons are not permitted.
GINZA Sunset Relay
- Open to participants aged 5 and older who are able to complete a 1 km lap on their own feet. (*Each team must include at least one member aged 18 or older.)
- Each team must have 2 to 20 members (entries must be submitted by one team representative).
- The entry fee is a flat 6,500 JPY per person, regardless of age.
- When a team member in 3rd grade of elementary school or younger (approx. age 9 and under) is running, a team member aged 18 or older must run alongside them.
- Teams made up only of minors are not permitted. Each team must register at least one member aged 18 or older (18-year-old high school students do not count toward this requirement).
- Only team members who are running may enter the venue. Accompanying persons are not permitted.
All Events
- Participants must be in good physical and mental health.
- Participants must, in principle, be able to run unassisted.
- Participants must meet the gender, age, team composition and other requirements set for each event, and be able to finish within the time limit.

*Participants under 18 must obtain consent from a parent or guardian.
Participants with Disabilities
Participants who can run independently, or who can finish with the assistance of a guide runner, may enter any event.
*Guide dogs may not accompany runners on the course.
Guide Runners / Companions
Participants with Disabilities
- Each participant may be accompanied by one guide runner.
- If you will be using a guide runner, please notify the event office by email in advance.
- Guide runners do not need to pay an entry fee.
- Guide runners must wear a bib or shirt clearly marked "Guide Runner" while running.
- Guide dogs may not accompany runners on the course.
Relay Participants
- When a team member in 3rd grade of elementary school or younger (approx. age 9 and under) is running, a team member aged 18 or older must run alongside them.
- Only registered team members may act as companions.

GINZA Sunset Relay:
- Teams compete for the total number of 1 km laps completed in 2 hours. The race ends when the runners on the course at the 2-hour mark cross the finish line. If teams are tied on laps, rankings are determined by each team's passing time at the timing point on its final lap.
- Each team must consist of 2 to 20 members.
- Every team member must run at least one lap.
- Timing will be recorded by a timing tag attached to the sash (tasuki) provided to each team (one per team).
- Running order and the number of laps per runner are up to each team. Runners may run consecutive laps or run again after a break.
- The sash may only be handed over within the designated relay zone.
- When a team member in 3rd grade of elementary school or younger (approx. age 9 and under) is running, a team member aged 18 or older must run alongside them. Only registered team members may act as companions.

Important Notes
Please read and agree to the following conditions before signing up.
- Due to the nature of the venue, items that can be blown away by the wind (such as umbrellas and hats without chin straps) may not be worn. Staff may also refuse other items on the day if they are deemed unsafe.
- As this is a sporting event, please do not wear clothing or footwear unsuitable for exercise (e.g., heels, leather shoes). Please wear sportswear and secure-fitting sneakers fastened with laces or Velcro.
- No luggage storage is available at the venue. Please use nearby coin lockers, bring as little as possible, and keep your valuables with you at all times.
- Pets are not allowed (service dogs such as guide dogs excepted).
- Intoxicated persons may be refused entry.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the venue.
- Items that cover the entire face, such as full-face helmets, are prohibited.
- Bag checks will be conducted at the entrance, and certain items are restricted for safety reasons.
Any of the following prohibited items brought to the venue will be held by the event office. Items will be stored where they were collected; please pick them up yourself before leaving.
- Dangerous items (swords/knives, model guns, explosives, corrosive substances, etc.)
- Insecticides
- Skateboards and other ride-on items (strollers excepted)
- Generators, wet-cell batteries, storage batteries, celluloid, etc.
- Radioactive materials and flammable liquids
- Large quantities of matches or fireworks
- Toxic or high-pressure gases
- Mechanical tools
- Drinks without lids
*In addition to the above, any items that may cause harm or inconvenience to other visitors are prohibited.
- Anyone feeling unwell on the day, including those with a fever of 37.5°C or higher or symptoms of an infectious disease such as coughing, will not be permitted to participate.
- For safety reasons, including visibility and wind, umbrellas (including parasols) may not be used. In case of rain, please wear rain gear, which you must bring yourself.
