Early Morning Opening Hours at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden...
🍀Starting July 2025, the Tokyo Marathon Foundation will operate as the Early Morning Opening Management Operator for Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Japan's premier modern Western-style gardens. This initiative aims to realize our mission: “Supporting the health of residents through running, and creating a better society by improving living environments and urban spaces starting from running.” As the operator managing the early morning opening of Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Japan's representative modern Western-style gardens, we will utilize the two hours before regular opening (7:00 AM to 9:00 AM) to offer various programs encouraging people of all ages and genders to get moving.
🍀 Why not wake up just a little earlier than usual and get moving in this nature-filled field?
After the activities, you're welcome to stay in the park and enjoy Shinjuku Gyoen with your family through nature observation, picnics, and more!

*If you would like to attend, please contact【 runningfesta@tokyo42195.org 】
*Please note that the activities will be mainly conducted in Japanese with some basic English.

The Tokyo Marathon 2026 will be held on Sunday, March 1st.
This activity is for runners traveling to Tokyo from Japan and abroad just before the event.
We offer you the chance to enjoy running at your own pace while experiencing the history, culture, and natural environment of Shinjuku Gyoen, and to connect with fellow runners!
