Tokyo Marathon 2026 Related Event RUNS : INTO KK ★on Saturday, February 28★

OPEN

This event aims to build excitement leading up to the Tokyo Marathon 2026.
Set on the KK Line (Tokyo Expressway), the road normally closed to foot traffic, the program features a 1-mile race and a half marathon relay with up to 300 teams.

Designed for both individuals and groups, the event offers opportunities for participants of all ages—from children to adults—to enjoy running.
By providing a fun and approachable experience, the event encourages greater engagement with sports and heightens anticipation for the main race.

Eligibility

1 Mile RUN

  • Family : A pair consisting of a child in 3rd grade or younger and a parent or guardian aged 18 or older

  • Kids & Junior : 4th grade elementary school students through 3rd grade junior high school students

  • General : High school students and older

 

SUNSET HALF MARATHON RELAY

  • Ages 5 and above, able to run 1 km without assistance (at least one team member must be 18 or older)

  • Teams of 2 to 21 runners (registration must be completed by one representative)

※Please arrange your relay team members yourself.

※Relay team members do not need to be ONE TOKYO GLOBAL members.

 

Note:

For teams of 10 or more, please select the 9-person team ticket and purchase the additional participant tickets needed.

General Requirements (All Events)

  • Participants must be in good physical and mental health

  • Must be able to run independently

  • Must meet the gender, age, and team composition requirements for each event and complete the race within the time limit

  • Participants under 18 must have parental consent

 

Participants with Disabilities

Those who can run independently or with a guide may participate in any event.
Guide dogs are not permitted.

 

Guide Policy

 

For Participants with Disabilities

  • One guide per runner is allowed

  • Please notify the event office by email in advance if you require a guide

  • Guides may join at no additional cost

  • Guides must wear a bib or shirt labeled “Guide”

  • Guide dogs are not permitted

 

For Relay Participants

  • Children in 3rd grade or younger must be accompanied by a team member aged 18 or older

  • Non-team members may not act as guides

 

Race Rules

1 Mile RUN

  • Two laps of an 800 m course (approx. 1,600 m / 1 mile)

  • No official timing

 

SUNSET HALF MARATHON RELAY

  • 1 km loop course, 21 laps total

  • Teams must consist of 2 to 21 runners

  • Each team member must complete at least one lap

  • Timing will be measured using the tag attached to the team sash (tasuki)

  • Teams may freely decide running order and number of laps per runner

  • Multiple consecutive laps and re-entry after switching are allowed

  • Sash exchanges must take place only within the designated relay zone

  • Children in 3rd grade or younger must be accompanied by a team member aged 18 or older

  • Costumes that violate public morals or pose safety risks are prohibited

 

Capacity

  • 1 Mile RUN

    • Family : 150 pairs / 300 participants

    • Kids & Junior : 300 participants

    • General : 300 participants per wave, 3,000 participants in total

  • SUNSET HALF MARATHON RELAY: 300 teams

Course

  • 1 Mile RUN: Special RUNS:INTO KK loop course (800 m × 2 laps)

  • SUNSET HALF MARATHON RELAY: Special RUNS:INTO KK course (1 km loop)

 

Entry Fee

  • 1 Mile RUN:

    • Family : ¥3,500 per pair (tax included) 

    • Kids & Junior : ¥2,000 (tax included)

    • General : ¥3,500 (tax included)

  • SUNSET HALF MARATHON RELAY: ¥6,500 per person (tax included)

※If the team representative (applicant) is a ONE TOKYO GLOBAL Member, a discount of ¥1,500 (tax included) per person will apply.

※Please arrange your relay team members yourself.

※Relay team members do not need to be ONE TOKYO GLOBAL members.

 

Important Notes

By applying, you agree to the following:

  • Due to the nature of the venue, the use of items that may be blown away by the wind (such as umbrellas or hats without straps) is not permitted.
    Additionally, if staff determine that any item poses a safety risk on the day of the event, they may ask you not to use or wear it. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Please wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear. Heels, dress shoes, or unsuitable attire are not allowed.
  • No baggage storage is available. Please use nearby coin lockers and manage your valuables yourself.

  • Pets are not allowed (service dogs excepted).

  • Participants who are intoxicated may be denied entry.

  • The venue is strictly non-smoking.

  • Full-face helmets or items covering the entire face are prohibited.

  • Bag checks will be conducted at the entrance. Items that cannot be brought into the venue will be temporarily held by the event office.
